Performance updates
Bug fixes and stability improvements 12.0.1 Apr 22 Ambient:
- You can now use an Ambient Assist trial only with a Mobile Pro subscription. Users with Mobile Free, Mobile Workflow Enhanced, and Mobile Plus subscriptions cannot use an Ambient Assist trial. NextGen Ambient Assist trial requests and sales contacts are no longer triggered from NextGen Mobile for unsupported subscription tiers.
- You can now edit macro-generated SOAP notes while using Magic Edit in NextGen Ambient Assist. Macro editing is not available for Review of Systems (ROS), Previous Diagnostics, and Procedure sections of the SOAP note. By streamlining macro editing, you can tailor notes to patient requirements, and improve documentation quality.
- NextGen Mobile now checks for the latest NextGen Enterprise EHR SOAP note data before sending SOAP note updates from Ambient sessions. If changes are detected in NextGen Enterprise EHR after an Ambient session begins, you are alerted and given options to either overwrite the EHR SOAP note data or delete the changes to prevent accidental overwrites. This enhancement covers Ambient, SOAP notes, and dictation screens, ensuring that manual and automated edits are accurately managed.

Macros:
Macro settings for SOAP notes now allow you to place macros at the top or bottom of a note, with precise positioning within sections and improved highlighting in Edit mode in NextGen Mobile Cloud Portal. The enhancement ensures accurate insertion and display across NextGen Mobile Cloud Portal and NextGen Mobile, even in complex templates.

Facesheet:
You can now generate final clinical documents directly from NextGen Mobile, including specialty and master documents from the Patient Facesheet. You can also navigate to the Patient Chart or sign-off the master document in PAQ from the Finalize Master Document screen. The master document generation workflow mirrors the NextGen Enterprise EHR experience, allowing users to select document types, generate PDFs, and send them for sign-off directly from NextGen Mobile. This enhancement supports multiple NextGen Enterprise EHR versions and ensures documentation is completed without switching platforms.

Medications, Orders, Diagnoses:
Suggestions in the Medications, Orders, and Diagnoses modules are now enabled by default for all users.

Feedback:
You can now send feedback of your NextGen Mobile experience based on the specific module, and detail specific sections to ensure streamlined tracking of the feedback. 12.0.0 Apr 11 Bug fixes and improvements. 11.4.1 Jan 29 The following enhancements have been made to NextGen Mobile:

- You can now only include upto 10,000 characters in a NextGen Ambient Assist SOAP note section. Including more characters displays an error message below the generated content. -You can now view and change the selected SOAP note template or specialty directly from the NextGen Ambient Transcript screen, before starting an ambient session.

- You can toggle between Normal and High detail levels to control the amount of information automatically added to your SOAP note section, except for the Psychiatry SOAP note section, which does not support changing the level of detail. The Normal setting provides standard encounter details, while the High detail level can include a more detailed summary of the encounter.

- NextGen Mobile Pro Assist now allows NextGen Mobile Pro users to quickly connect with a mobile expert directly from Today’s Visit. You can select the Pro Assist icon to access a scheduling link for personalized support sessions, trainings, and troubleshooting sessions. You can schedule upto 10 expert appointments in a month.

- You can now use the On Formulary toggle button to verify a medication's formulary status, reducing interruptions during prescribing.

- Each dictator list entry in the Mobile Settings view now displays whether it is a Dictator or a Clinic name.
- You can now set the default start view of the NextGen Mobile application on either the Schedule view or Hub view. This reduces navigation steps when reopening the application between patients.
- You will receive a notification reminder to update the NextGen Mobile application to the latest version. You can choose to update later, but the reminder will continue to appear until the application is updated.
- You must add the new URLs to the whitelist to prevent NextGen Mobile Services interruption on October 10, 2025.

Facesheet:
- The Vitals section in the patient’s facesheet now displays pulse rate for each encounter.

Today's Visit:
- You can add customized information to all SOAP notes based on your preferences using the Custom Instructions field in the Ambient Settings view.
- You can turn on selected alerts when an Ambient listening session is interrupted. Connectivity interruption alert options include an alert sound, a vibration, or both.
- You can preview recorded Ambient sessions as transcripts or as SOAP notes in Ambient Assist. The transcript of a patient encounter is deleted either after the SOAP note is sent to NextGen Enterprise EHR  or after 24 hours have passed, whichever comes first.
- You can use the Magic Edit feature in NextGen Ambient Assist  to regenerate or edit SOAP notes based on specific instructions. Magic Edit allows you to add a custom instruction to edit the SOAP note based on your requirements. You can select multiple examples to add information to the SOAP note. Each example replaces the previously generated SOAP note. You must use Magic Edit before doing any manual edits to the SOAP note.
- You can also recreate a SOAP note again using the Regenerate button. Regenerating the SOAP note does not regenerate the suggestions available in Magic Edit.
- In Today’s Visit, you can now add office visit and procedure codes to charges using +Add.You must also include a diagnosis code to any charges added to a patient encounter. If no diagnosis code is entered, you are redirected to the Diagnosis module.
- NextGen Ambient Assist now supports 30 languages, such as English, Spanish, and French. You can select your preferred primary and secondary languages from the list of supported languages to help detect speech during conversations with your patients and generate transcripts in your selected language.

- If the Suggested tab has been inactive for more than 30 days, all suggestions are disabled for the provider. You must select Reactivate to enable all suggestions.

- You can now view documents and images in a patient's chart in landscape as well as portrait mode. This enhancement expands the landscape view in the NextGen Mobile application to fit the screen.

Instantly see the previous appointment date and rendering provider name for each SOAP section. You’ll also see instant “Copied” feedback when you copy content to your note. Speech-to-Text Dictation:
You can now provide feedback on dictation workflows through the NextGen Speech-to-Text Survey window. You can perform the following actions:
* You can select Take Survey to complete the survey.
* You can select Skip to skip the survey and return to the previous screen.
The survey is available to NextGen Mobile Speech-to-Text users who have submitted at least 50 notes to NextGen Enterprise EHR using the dictation workflow in Jobs, Today's Visit, or D2D.

Password Reset:
Users can reset their NextGen Mobile passwords by verifying their account with a one-time password (OTP). Users can select Forgot Password, and then select the Registered Email or SMS option to receive the verification code.
